Mind has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI), one of India's leading institutions dedicated to footwear, fashion and design education and technology.
The agreement was signed by Vivek Sharma, Managing Director of FDDI, Fernando Vasconcelos, representing Mind, and Baljeet Singh, Mind's partner in India, in the presence of representatives from both FDDI and Mind.
This partnership marks another important step in Mind's international growth strategy and reinforces the shared commitment to developing highly skilled professionals while accelerating the digital transformation of the footwear industry.
Under the Memorandum of Understanding, the two organisations will collaborate on advanced CAD/CAM training, international workshops, certification programmes, technology transfer initiatives and other activities designed to strengthen the connection between education and industry.
The collaboration will provide FDDI students and Indian SMEs with access to internationally recognised technologies, supporting the development of digital skills, innovation and more efficient manufacturing processes across the footwear value chain.
Through this initiative, Mind continues to expand its international network and invest in strategic partnerships that contribute to a more innovative, competitive and future-ready footwear industry.
