The Pattern Matching, Printed Cut and Feature Recognition cutting solutions will be featured on the Portuguese technology company's stand at the next edition of the textile and clothing machinery fair.
Between 26 and 28 March, Mind will be at Maquitex, in Exponor, demonstrating its solutions for the garment industry.
Pattern Matching is a cutting solution with automatic marker alignment for fabric compression and distension, including automatic pattern recognition, while Printed Cut automatically detects prints for more efficient cutting.
The Feature Recognition solution uses artificial intelligence to recognise patterns and precisely position the different parts of a garment for cutting, optimising the process and reducing waste, and is especially suited to small production runs.
Over the course of the three days, the company will organise practical workshops, providing an interactive demonstration of its solutions and the positive impact they can have on industrial processes.
‘Maquitex is always a key moment for the textile sector and this year we expect strong interest in solutions that increase production efficiency and flexibility,’ reveals Fernando Vasconcelos, the company's marketing director and international sales coordinator. ‘The partnership between Mind and Zünd has been a real driver of innovation in automatic cutting, combining advanced software and cutting-edge technology to offer greater precision, speed and sustainability. The solutions we present can transform production processes and give companies a real competitive advantage, not just in samples and small series, but even in actual production,’ he emphasises.
As well as solutions for the clothing industry, Mind will also be showing technologies dedicated to the footwear and leather goods industry. Among the novelties in this area will be 3D printing and high-quality rendering, which, says the company, ‘promises to revolutionise the sample development process by significantly shortening decision times related to the design and production of models’.
