The 2017 new versions of Mind Technology software will be launched.

The new MindCAD 2017 delivers innovations for the design and engineering of footwear, with powerful new tools enabling the design of highly realistic models and the development of innovative footwear collections, with high technical rigor.

The new MindCUT 2017 solution delivers new productivity tools, enhanced interfaces and easier control of digital cutters. MindCUT Studio performs the capture and recognition of the leather and optimizes the nesting of parts - allowing a reduction of set-up times, minimizing material waste and thus ensuring exceptional productivity on flexible production environments.

An extended set of automatic cutting solutions – fully integrating MindCUT software with Zünd digital cutters - will be exhibited, covering a wide a wide variety of typologies and production processes:

A Zünd D3 2XL 3200, using two cutting heads in a single production flow, will showcase the processes for large leathers used on Automotive and Luggage industries, including automatic leather capture and classification, nesting and high performance cutting.

A solution based on a Zünd S3 M800 will showcase the same processes for small and half hides – in addition to synthetic, thermoelastic and structural footwear materials cutting.

Finally, a Zünd L3 C56 digital cutter will demonstrate the automatic capture and interactive nesting of half hides and small hides, for the Footwear and Luggage industry.
